An M2 Guide: Why You Should Be Using Ringless Voicemail

Ringless Voicemail is the newest Direct Mail tool you didn’t know you needed. You can reach thousands of people in your database without lifting your phone or making a single call. The best part is – people wont be bothered with an actual phone call. They will simply receive a voicemail with your customized message that they can listen to on their own time.

These messages are equipped with trackable call back numbers that bring leads straight to you in no time. The average ROI with these campaigns can range anywhere from a couple cents to a few dollars per lead, whereas other campaigns of this nature can cost you anywhere from $30-$100 per lead!

Millenials v. Direct Mail: Trash or Treasure?

Millennials were born into a world of technology. It has been said that Millennials expect everything to be at their fingertips in real time. Can we really blame them for expecting something that has always been their norm? Marketers should see this as an opportunity, not a burden. While Millennials are bombarded approximately 35 hours a week with digital marketing, (Romano)[i] why not recapture their attention with the simplicity of traditional direct mail?

Studies show that direct mail is still as relevant to Millennials as it was to the past three generations. In fact, 63% of Millennials who responded to a direct mail piece in the past three months, actually made a purchase. (Romano)

Delivering Hope One Meal at a Time

Motivated Marketing was honored to work with our friends at Meals on Wheels of Charleston recently, documenting some of the amazing things they do for our community. We captured some remarkable stories from people impacted by the program and met many of the volunteers and team members who make the program possible.

World’s Best Person: August 2016

Anna Greeley was named M2’s World’s Best Person of the Month during our August staff meeting. As our second media team member named Anna, she’s even tolerated and embraced her new nickname, AJ, short for “Anna Junior.” Despite the shenanigans, she’s taken it in stride and M2 is so grateful that she’s part of the team. To reward her, we will pepper her with stupid questions.

Digital Roundup

When we’re not tweeting, Instagramming, or PPC-ing, we’re usually submerged in digital/social trends (and a box of wine). We do the research so you don’t have to. Here are some updates from our digital media bubble:

Google Expanded Text Ads ARE HERE. Thats right! The days of painstakingly counting the characters in our clients names are no more. Sort of. Instead of the typical 25-character headline and two sub-lines of 35 characters each, we now have TWO headlines of 30 characters each AND an 80-character description. Screenshot below (and in the article if you’re adventurous). The switch was aimed specifically at mobile users who want more information at their fingertips, but the change benefits desktop and tablet users as well.
