Our Favorite “Dadvertising” Moments

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there! Today, we are hearing from TJ, Ben, and Adam (aka “Daddy” to the little people that live in their homes) about their favorite “dadvertising” moments.

TJ Sack – Dad of 2 – Agency Principal

Molly and Katelyn are sugar and spice.

Molly and Katelyn are sugar and spice.

With two daughters, this one hit home to me. I hope I am able to protect and be a part of my daughters’ lives as they continue to grow up. It also makes me sad because I do not want my girls to grow up. Selfishly, I want them to stay my little angels.

Worlds Best Person: May 2016

As we close out another month of celebrating our World’s Best Person, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge May’s Winner: Jillian Inniss. Each month, M2 staff members have the opportunity to nominate co-workers that have exemplified excellence. The winner of World’s Best Person (of the month) gets a coveted trophy for display, bragging rights, and $50! The nominations are consistently great, but this month had some of the best in the history of the award.

Jillian is in charge of our agency snack drawer and she has taken that responsibility to the NEXT LEVEL. We usually don’t publish any of the nominations – but this one was too good not to share.

It’s time to honor our March 2016 WBP Award winner by annoying them with asinine questions! Our March winner has been burning the candle at both ends trying to satisfy the digital media appetite of M2’s clients. His hard work is complimented by his passion and knowledge about digital marketing solutions. Mike Pendleton is our March WBP and very deserving of the honor. Let’s get to know him better!

Q: Imagine a 2 week vacation without internet access or technology (no computers, cameras, phones, gps, TV, radio, or MP3 player). Is it a grand adventure or a hellish nightmare?

World’s Best Person: January 2016

Hearty congratulations are due to our first World’s Best Person winner of 2016! Ryan, our Content Strategist, took the honor this month for his ability to create on demand and maintain an incredible attitude in the crunchiest of crunch times.

Our hats are off to Ryan! Now, let’s get to know him a little better with some Q & A.

Q: If you could pick any restaurant in Charleston to have dinner at tonight, which one would you pick and what would you order?

I would go to Husk, and I’d order whatever was on their daily menu. That place isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a Southern institution that pays homage to one of the world’s greatest cuisines.

A triple-threat of efficiency, organization, and innovation.

A triple-threat of efficiency, organization, and innovation.

Allie is one of our top Account Managers & has been a mainstay in our monthly nomination process. She is regularly called out for her work ethic and ability to do whatever it takes to get things done on behalf of her clients. A true “go-getter” in every sense, Allie regularly inspires the entire staff to be great at what we do every day.

We thought it might be fun to get to know her better with a little friendly Q&A.

World’s Best Person: November 2015

Amanda Wolfe is our November winner of the coveted WBP Award & she is long overdue for a win.

She's made of magic. That's the only way to explain her.

She’s made of magic. That’s the only way to explain her.

In addition to keeping everyone in our office organized, she handles HR responsibilities, oversees client billing, facilitates our paychecks and coordinates our daily lives. If that wasn’t enough, she’s also strapped on a hard hat and played contractor to oversee the gutting and renovation of our new office building. The fact that we are all enjoying our new space is because of Amanda.

Amanda did this. See what we mean? Magic.

Hats off to you, Amanda! Thank you for everything you do & congratulations on your win!

World’s Best Person: October 2015

A hearty congratulations is due for Matt Slechter, M2’s latest winner of the prestigious WBP Award. Matt leads the Media team here at Motivated Marketing, and in addition to being incredibly knowledgeable in the media space, he’s also an all-around great guy to have in your corner. Just ask the whole staff here at M2 – Matt is pretty much universally adored.

When Matt isn’t slaying media dragons at the office, he can be found doing woodwork, volunteering as an emergency first responder, or entering (and winning) contests that require covering himself in grits. He’s basically our very own version of the Most Interesting Man In The World.

Melanie Creech

Melanie handles all of our trafficking here at the agency and does a bang up job. She has a contagious smile and unwavering enthusiasm. Having just joined Motivated in June, she has wasted no time in making herself an invaluable asset to the team.

We set out to learn a little more about our winner and found that like the rest of the team, she also has a deep love of coffee and totally agrees that someone should really be focusing on the fine art of teleportation. (Oops, spoiler alert…)

This month our uber talented web developer, Shaun Otherson, won by a landslide. We decided to take the opportunity to ask Shaun some pretty hard hitting questions about life. Here’s what we learned:

1. What is the funniest thing you’ve ever heard a child say?
When I was about five my father took me to the opera. The opera singer playing the lead part was a fat guy (like most opera singers). He was laying on the ground in a jail cell singing a sad song and I asked my father what was wrong with him. My dad said, “He is in jail and he is starving.” Right when the music was quiet, I replied “But dad that guy is really fat! How could he be starving?” He said we rushed out of there so fast because he could barely hold in his laughter.
